My name is  Keciah (Kee-See-Ya). I am daughter of God, Mom, Reporter,  Writer, Scholar and Introvert (INFP).

If you’ve ever felt depressed, defeated, discouraged or disoriented, you’ve come to the right place. <<<HUGS>>> Through my personal stories, I will show you how to use your adversities to find the treasure God placed inside of you so you can live out his purpose for your life. The original name “We Are Black Diamonds” was birthed from a previous blog I created with a tagline – We Are Black Diamonds – Not Angry Black Women. At the time, frustrated with the images of black women both in pop culture and social media, I sought to confront it but soon found I was fighting a losing battle. I realized the best way for me to counteract the negative stereotypes was to BECOME my highest self and in so doing empower and encourage others to do the same. So I simply became myself: KeciahBailey.com. This is MY personal journey but over time it is evolving into so much more and I encourage you to take the journey with me.

Here, I vent (it’s healthy), teach, minister and encourage using simple, practical biblical truths.

Though written to black women, from the perspective of a black woman, it is my belief that we are all more alike than different and despite our unique realities, our adversities and our struggles to overcome them are truly the ties that bind.
